Network Engineer

Job Title: Network Engineer (2 openings)

Job Description

Designs, implements and maintains LAN and WAN wired and wireless connectivity for all sites.Configures firewalls, routers, switches, VPN and security software and appliances to support company requirements.Assists in the design and implementation of new systems.Troubleshoot LAN and WAN connectivity issues and assist with upgrades and modifications as required.Lead, coordinate and/or participate in IT projects as assigned.Assist in completion of daily checklists for network health and security and raise concerns as necessary.Maintain cabling plant diagrams and documentation.Thorough understanding of LAN/WAN, DNS, routing, switches, security appliances.Cisco, Juniper or additional certifications a plus.Experience with Cisco switching a plus.Knowledgeable and proficient with full suite of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Visio, etc.).Knowledge of telecommunications network design principles and processes.Possess critical thinking skills and problem-solving ability.Ability to integrate ISE with Active Directory (AD), PKI, and other identity providers.Hands-on experience with TrustSec, segmentation, and profiling.Strong understanding of Zero Trust Security (ZTS) principles.Experience implementing network segmentation and micro segmentation.Knowledge of Software-Defined Perimeter (SDP) and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).

Additional Information:

One step onsite panel interview.100% onsite and hours are flexible but prefers to work first shift.Pay scale is $45/hour-$60/hour depending on experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
