The Opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team, supporting P&G’s global enterprise network. You’ll be at the forefront of maintaining and improving critical infrastructure, ensuring 24/7 service availability. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, adaptable, and passionate about advanced technologies. You should be proactive in identifying solutions and have a vision for using technology to support business growth. Responsibilities + Monitor and manage network services using incident, event, and service management processes with a focus on service restoration and continuous improvement. + Provide 24x7x365 operations support in a global, follow-the-sun NOC environment. + Handle second-level incident management, emphasizing quick and effective service restoration. + Mentor and support junior engineers for their technical and professional growth. + Lead and participate in crisis management calls, coordinating cross-functional resources as needed. + Implement standard changes across LAN, WAN, security, wireless, remote access, load balancing, and cloud connectivity. + Act as an escalation point for incidents and changes within the NOC team. + Develop and maintain support documentation and train NOC staff. + Utilize monitoring tools to ensure systems availability and performance. + Maintain clear and effective communication with internal stakeholders. The Ideal Candidate + Strong customer service mindset and ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations. + Proficient in Microsoft Office tools for collaboration and reporting. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Able to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. + Builds strong working relationships across teams and departments. + Willing and available to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, to support 24x7 operations. Job Qualifications Required: + Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR 5+ years of relevant IT/network operations experience. + 3+ years of hands-on experience managing TCP/IP networks. + Advanced knowledge of carrier services and WAN technologies (MPLS, VPNs, VRFs, DWDM, etc.). + Expertise in networking technologies and infrastructure: Cisco, Viptela, F5, Aruba, Juniper, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Riverbed, Zscaler, Sonus, Avaya. + Advanced experience with network load balancers and firewalls. + Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., CA Spectrum, EMC Smarts). + Strong working knowledge of operating systems: Cisco IOS/NXOS, Linux, Unix, Windows. + Understanding of IT compliance and governance frameworks (ITIL, PCI, SOC). Preferred: + Industry certifications such as Network+, CCNA, or CCNP. + Deep expertise in wireless networking technologies.
