Manage and operate communications and internal networks. Install new software, administer security procedures, ensure system back-ups, monitor network performance, and make recommendations for improvement. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments. Solve a broad range of complex problems while working with limited direction. Interface regularly with internal and external customers and make significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining network and Windows environments
Experience with Cisco networking devices and technologies, including switches, routers, OSPF, and VLANs
Experience with configuring systems to user environments
Knowledge of routing protocols, including RIP, EIGRP, MPLS, BGP, and OSPF
Knowledge of PKI implementation, including X.509 certificates and certificate authorities
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with DoD programs and initiatives
Experience with configuring and troubleshooting SSL and IPsec VPNs
Experience with analyzing network traffic with Wireshark or tcpdump
Experience with working in classified spaces to implement network solutions, and implementing certificate-based encryption on network devices
Knowledge of VLAN design schemes for network separation
Ability to depict network diagrams accurately using Microsoft Visio
Ability to initiate, manage, execute, and report tasks independently, as identified
Ability to communicate complex network principles and designs to clients
Bachelor's degree
CCNA Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
