Job Duties: Support the design, deployment, and operations of a large-scale global Oracle cloud-computing environment. Develop and support network fabric and systems. Develop and implement solutions for network issues, safely executing network changes. Participate in network lifecycle management through network build and/or upgrade projects. May participate in network solution and architecture design process. Participate in operational rotations as either primary or secondary. Provide break-fix support for events and may serve as escalation point for event remediation. Provide root cause analysis as needed. Develop scripts to automate routine tasks for team. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a Network Developer-related occupation. *In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, employer will accept 2 years of work experience. Position requires:

Deep networking experience, including network protocols, network fabric architectures, and network device management; Network troubleshooting and performance analysis; Internet Protocol (IP), Transmission Control Protocol (TCP), or Border Gateway Protocol(BGP) protocols; Networking Operations and Oncall experience; Software development: network automation with Python; Core networking platforms from major vendors: Cisco, Arista or Nvidia/Mellanox; and Experience with network monitoring tools such as Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), MIB’s.
