We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our LAN Connectivity Team in Prague, Czech Republic. As a member of the LAN Connectivity team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and design of the Campus Network, including Manufacturing segments with a primary focus on LAN technology. The candidate must possess advanced knowledge of routing and switching, and hands on experience with network automation. The candidate will be the technical point of contact for the customer and provide design, migration and deployment guidance. The operations activities include troubleshooting performance issues and performing break-fix network changes.
What will you do?
Create Low Level Design, High Level Design, Implementation Plan, and Acceptance Test Plan documents in accordance with the defined standards.Create, update and publish standards to ensure the network meets business and compliance needs.Perform installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of Our Company’s managed hardware, software and peripheral devices.Automate configuration changes on thousands of devices.Own platform life-cycle management.Research, architect, and introduce Next Generation Network Solutions based on industry trends.Ability to accomplish objectives while working collectively with the Global team, IT divisional teams, country IT departments and business teams.On-call rotation during business hours, including weekends.Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Network Engineer in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare or in a compliance spaceBachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fieldDeep knowledge and expertise with multivendor (Cisco & Arista) Routing and SwitchingA solid understanding of what comprises a scalable, robust, supportable designExperience working in a large geographically dispersed network environmentA belief that standardization and automation is the path to happinessGood understanding of Network Automation solutionsProficient with Python and AnsibleHands-on experience with Arista AVDExperience with and a strong knowledge of Incident, Problem and Change management processes using SNOWNice to have
Industry recognized certifications such as Cisco CCIE or Arista equivalentPharmaceutical Industry and/or compliance experience is a plusExperience with project management/backlog tracking tools such as JIRAWhat we offer
