Network Capacity Optimization Specialist, EU AMZL Network Capacity Optimization

The Network Capacity Optimization (NCO) Specialist works to optimize network performance, supporting NCO Managers in finding the best trade-off between capacity, speed and cost.

You will play a key role in the development/execution of the tools, models and processes around i) management of short/mid/long-term capacity for AMZL delivery station, ii) monitor and foster standardized DSs Ops Clock and shift patterns, iii) find the best operating model leveraging trade-off between cost, speed and capacity. You will also coordinate the execution of weekly capacity update and quarterly changes for ops clock / shift patterns / operating models.

Key job responsibilities
• Business analysis, eventually leveraging AMZL databases, to dive deep Operating Models (Speed vs cost) design, DILO changes and Capacity impacts
• Monitor DS Capacities in short/mid/long-term horizon, providing reporting to Sr leadership about deviations and making sure that the right data can be consumed both in the 13-weeks horizon (S&OP, CO) and in Peak/3-years horizon (Launch & Expansion, Process Engineering)
• Data collection and validation to support critical and EU-wide AMZL decisions for Peak and Off-Peak planning, like Operating Model and CIT planning
• Conduct audits and generate reports around Capacity deviations, issues and future impacts, while autonomously providing action plans to be shared with Network Planning management
• Align with Central & Field team and adjust Capacity attributes to meet Capacity commitments
• Coordinate weekly and monthly capacity changes, obtaining requests “bottom-up” from DS Ops, while aligning with a wide range of stakeholders in EU AMZL Central Functions to find the optimal shift structure, Ops Clock, Customer Experience at the lowest cost
• Help to solve logistics and supply chain challenges through data analysis, innovation and process optimization
• Take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are being shared, standardized across all the sites.
