Required Qualifications: 

 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Network Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).  5+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 1-2 years in a network automation-focused position.  Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, YAML) and automation frameworks (Ansible, Terraform).  Familiarity with network device APIs (REST, NETCONF, SNMP) and automation of Cisco/Juniper/Arista environments   Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab), and container environments (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.  Basic understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs, ACLs, etc. 

 

Preferred Skills: 

 

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, GitLab).  Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).  Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).  Certifications such as Cisco DevNet, CCNP, or Juniper JNCIA-DevOps.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
