GovCIO is currently hiring for an Network Automations Engineer to design, implementy, and manage automated solutions for the configurations and management of secured mobile kits. This position will be located in Fort Bragg, NC and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities

The Network Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing automated solutions for the configuration and management of secured mobile kits. This role ensures the reliability, security, and efficiency of mobile network operations by leveraging automation tools and best practices. The engineer works closely with network, security, and IT teams to streamline deployments, reduce manual intervention, and maintain compliance with security standards. 

Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools to automate the configuration, provisioning, and management of secured mobile kits, minimizing manual tasks and reducing the risk of errorSecure Configuration Management: Implement and enforce security best practices in automated workflows, ensuring that all configurations for mobile kits meet organizational and regulatory security requirementsCollaboration: Work with network engineers, security teams, and cross-functional IT staff to identify automation opportunities and integrate solutions into existing mobile network infrastructureMonitoring and Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor the performance and security of automated mobile kit deployments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues using automation and orchestration toolsDocumentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of automation processes, configurations, and security controls for mobile kits.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in network automation and mobile security. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and security.  Qualifications

Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

Clearance Required: TS/SCIDoD 8570 IAT Level II CertificationCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft AzureExperience with micro-service network architectureExperience with troubleshooting and resolving technical problems with both on-site and remote administratorsAbility to communicate technical ideas and deliver briefings with cross-functional teams work in a high-demand environment and provide technical expertise on all phases of system engineering activities

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
