The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Network and Security Design and Architecture Senior Manager to join the Network Infrastructure Services & Data Centers (NIS & DC) team in either Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; Huntington Beach, CA; North Charleston, SC; Ridley Park, PA; Miami, FL; Huntsville, AL; or Seal Beach, CA.
The selected candidate should have a strong background in Network & Security Design and Architecture. You will collaborate closely with the Executive Director of Network Infrastructure Services & Data Centers and a peer group of Senior Managers overseeing Operation, Automation, Security, Program Management, and other critical functions.

Position Responsibilities:
Lead a global team consisting of leaders, Senior Network Designers, Senior Network Architects, Senior Network Security Designers to ensure the network and security operations and achieve a reliability target of 5 nines
Drive a team of experts dedicated to reviewing and identifying design and architecture vulnerabilities and addressing them
Manage the Lab & Lab Network team to ensure we test all devices, designs, configurations, and other critical things before they are deployed into the production network
Manage Transport, Cable & Wires (C&W), Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and ensure standards are set and followed globally
Plan and implement a Life Cycle Management (LCM) process to ensure that we never allow Last Day of Service (LDoS) devices in the production network
Work closely with peers and the Executive Director of Network Infrastructure Services & Data Center to develop and implement the vision and strategy for the Network & Security Design and Architecture team
Collaborate with Network Automation, Tools, and Compliance teams to get critical data that enables better designs and architecture
Encourage a culture of challenging the status quo and actively bring forward new ideas to enhance the overall effectiveness of NIS & DC
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience in managing and/or leading network design and architecture
10+ years of experience in managing and/or leading security design and architecture
10+ years of experience with network design, architecture, protocols, security, and/or operations for effective network management and implementation
10+ years of experience with Cisco and Arista networking, load balancing, firewalls, and/or related technologies for network solutions
5+ years of experience managing direct reports
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Experience driving a culture of can-do attitude and innovation

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $174,250 – $251,850
