HOW A NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Manages the functionality and efficiency of Mission IT networks (LAN).Coordinate with COMM Network providerPlans and executes Mission IT network upgrades and expansion to ensure optimal performance and capacity.Monitors network performance and troubleshoots and resolves network problems to maintain operating efficiency and ensure quality transmission service on the network.Uses subject matter expertise to diagnose and solve issues and has authority to deviate from standard operating proceduresProvides technical guidance to Mission IT staff and end users regarding network related issues.Develops and implements network security policies and procedures to protect the organizations data and resources.Configures and maintains network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls.Provides network upgrades as requiredImplements and manages security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems and VPNs.Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including data protection and privacy requirements.Develops and maintains disaster recovery plans to ensure network resilience and continuity in case of emergencies.Works closely with IA/ISSO to support ConMon and RMF processesCoordinate with Network Vendors as part of tier 4 escalationParticipates in special projects as required.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree in technical STEM, or demonstrated equivalent operations experience. 
● Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience executing mission systems experience
● Required Technical Skills:

Preferably experience with IC customer. Will need experience working with Senior level visibility customers.

● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with polygraph
● Location: On Customer Site
● US Citizenship Required

The likely salary range for this position is $91,811 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
