We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners mission objectives.
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Network Administrator (Defense Red Switch Network Support (DRSN)), Journeyman . This position is in support of the USAEUR Mission Partner Site K located at Site K. This position is located OCONUS.
Responsibilities:
Possesses and applies practical knowledge in supporting, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading EMITS 2’s networks and servers, including DRSN switch and peripheral equipment
Supports DRSN security documentation and activities IAW DoD and NSA requirements (e.g., DoDI 8510.01, NIST, CNNSI)
Monitors day-to-day operations and corrects or resolves anomalies and problems, including troubleshooting, restoring service upon discovery or notification of a DRSN outage, and repairing or replacing LRUs
Provides installation and relocation of DRSN phones
Conducts informal refresher and familiarization training on phones and user equipment
Performs scheduled and unscheduled COMSEC re-key of encryption devices and maintains and administers DRSN equipment safe combinations
Maintains and tracks DRSN facility CCI equipment
Performs preventative maintenance, system backup, and troubleshooting according to OEM instructions and the DRSN O&M Guide, including remote administration, troubleshooting, and connectivity
Performs peripheral SW updates and upgrades equipment on DRSN peripherals
Operates and maintains the ECC located in the DRSN facility
Configures DRSN to provide interconnectivity and interoperability service for STE and secure radio/SATCOM interfaces
Supports and assists with internal facility inspections and evaluations and corrects findings and deficiencies
Evaluates and monitors network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and tests/evaluates for weaknesses
Directs and executes user accounts, permissions, and passwords to support requirements
Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments
Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problem
Qualifications:
Required:
Currently hold an adjudicated Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
BA/BS +4-7 year’s experience
Certification - 8140 - CND or Network+
Demonstrates practical expertise in supporting, configuring, and maintaining networks and DRSN equipment, ensuring compliance with DoD and NSA security requirements, including COMSEC encryption.
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of DRSN operations, including troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and COMSEC procedures.
Exhibits proficiency in executing user accounts, permissions, passwords, monitoring network performance, evaluating weaknesses, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and security.
Showcases ability to conduct user training, manage accounts, and perform system updates on DRSN peripherals.
Displays competence in configuring DRSN for interoperability with STE and secure radio/SATCOM interfaces, repairing or replacing units, and supporting facility inspections.
Demonstrates capacity to operate independently, developing methodologies and presenting solutions for complex DRSN-related problems.
Demonstrates practical expertise in configuring, maintaining, and upgrading networks and servers, with emphasis on Government or military environments.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
