SAIC is seeking Network Administrators to join the Machine-assisted Analytic Rapid-repository System (MARS) Advanced Development Operations (DevOps) and Sustainment Support (ADOS) program and provide on-site technical and administrative support to facilitate operations of critical MARS infrastructure and services. This effort focuses on providing a comprehensive set of System/ Software Engineering and IT Services to maintain, sustain, enhance, and improve/ modernize MARS. The ideal candidate will be located in the National Capital Region. **Please note that this is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated decision expected by fall 2025.** The Network Administrator responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, performance, and security of the network infrastructure. + Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network-related software and hardware systems, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and encryption devices. + Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols and work with IP-based networking environments. + Evaluate, develop, and sustain telecommunications infrastructure and ensure conformance with organizational IT policies and objectives. **Qualifications** + Active TS/SCI with Polygraph + Advanced knowledge of routing protocols, security standards, and media access control systems. + Demonstrated experience in network segmentation, traffic management, and secure network architecture design. + In-depth knowledge of network tools, monitoring platforms, and documentation best practices. + Experience with modern networking technologies, including SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN, and cloud networking services. + Proven experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, and other network components. + Experience performing root-cause analysis. + Bachelors and 16+ years of experience or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree Desired Qualifications: + Cisco certification. + IAT certification. + Knowledge of IT service management best practices and frameworks such as ITIL. + Working knowledge of hardware configuration management tools and logistics tracking systems. + Experience with automation tools and scripting languages to streamline network operations. + Familiarity with NIST, STIG, RMF, and Federal Information Systems Controls.
