As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of ark’s network infrastructure, resolving technical issues, and providing exceptional customer support.  This position in hybrid remote and requires 3 days in office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and resolve customer support tickets related to Internet, Connectivity, Firewall, and Managed Network service products.Apply updates and patches to managed infrastructure as directed.Create and maintain accurate documentation of all configuration changes.Troubleshoot reported network issues and work to resolve problems.Open support tickets with vendors for managed infrastructure and carrier circuit issues.Participate in testing and maintenance of managed infrastructure resiliency plans.Follow company policies and procedures to ensure provisioning, maintenance and documentation consistency.Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

2+ years of applicable work experience required.Cisco, Juniper, Arista network associate or equivalent network certification is preferred. Experience with L1 optical networks and transport services is preferred.Experience with IP routing and switching, WAN, MPLS, OSPF, BGP is preferred. Palo Alto Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) is preferred.Experience with Palo Alto or other enterprise firewall is preferred.

Technical Knowledge/Skills: 

Operational knowledge of Cisco ASR and NCS platforms.Operational knowledge of Juniper MX and ACX platforms.Knowledge of network and firewall configuration.Familiarity with network monitoring tools, performance and troubleshooting tools.Basic knowledge of automation scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible).General working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, NTP, SNMP, SSH   Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and collaboration tools

Compensation:

The compensation for this position is $60,255 - $87,035 annually. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including experience and skillsets.
