The Classified Infrastructure Services department provides expertise to programs in Data Center Management, Networking and High-Performance Computing. As a Network Administrator (Senior Analyst Level), you will work closely with system administrators and cybersecurity and bring an enhanced level of knowledge on networking technologies and practices to support multiple program Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs). This is an on-site position in our McKinney, TX office.

What You Will Do:

Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and problems reported by users and system administratorsFollow network design guides and processes/practicesReview Technical Security Controls with minimal supervisionMonitor network for health and performanceCreate and maintain technical documentation such as network diagramsMay require occasional domestic travel

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.Demonstrated experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco hardware on Local Area Networks (LAN) within classified environmentsActive and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Effective customer service skills, including oral and written communicationsCompTIA Security+ certification (or equivalent 8570 IAT Level II or 8140 Intermediate for Network Operations Specialist) or commitment to obtain within 6 months of starting employment.Experience installing and operating SNMP-based network management tools (e.g. SolarWinds)Experience configuring and troubleshooting RADIUS for 802.1x and AAA using Network Policy Server or Cisco Identity Services EngineExperience configuring and operating Type-1 encryption devices (e.g. KG-175 series)Associate-level Cisco certification (e.g. Cisco Certified Network Associate)

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
