NetScout SME Location: Remote Job ID: ATR 17606 Job Description Job Title: NetScout SME Location: Fully Remote Eligibility: Candidate must be authorized to be employed in the United States Job Description: The Netscout Subject Matter Expert (SME) will focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Arbor Edge Defense (AED) using specialized expertise in both network performance management within the OCI environment and advanced DDoS and threat protection using Netscout's AED solution. Responsibilities: Key responsibilities for this role include deploying and configuring Netscout OCI and AED solutions, troubleshooting network and security issues using Netscout tools, and integrating OCI & AED with existing security frameworks and cloud environments. The SME will also be responsible for performance monitoring, analysis, ensuring security and compliance, and creating documentation and providing training. In the context of OCI and AED, responsibilities include leveraging Netscout for network visibility within OCI, deploying and managing AED as a primary defense at the OCI network edge, and integrating AED with OCI security features and other security tools. The role also involves analyzing OCI network traffic with Netscout to identify anomalies and performance issues and implementing AED's Adaptive DDoS Protection features within OCI. Qualifications: Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Netscout OCI and AED solutions, with a strong background in network traffic analysis, performance monitoring, security event detection, and network security protocols. Experience with enterprise enterprise andcloud architectures(AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with SIEMs, firewalls, and IDS/IPS preferred. Technical Skills: - Deep expertise in Netscout's portfolio (nGeniusONE, InfiniStreamNG, vSTREAM,nGenius Packet Flow Switches) - In-depth knowledge of OCI services related to networking, security, monitoring, and logging - Experience withAEDdeployment, configuration, and management. - Strong understanding of network security protocols, packet analysis, threat intelligence, and DDoS mitigation techniques; and cloud security controls (OCI). -Scriptingskills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Certifications: Relevant certifications like Netscout nGenius Certified Professional, CCNP, or CISSP, highly preferred. - Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
