Short-Term Position (3-4 months with possible extension).
PROJECT SCOPE
We are searching for a proficient .NET Framework developer to design, develop, and help enhance and maintain their existing intranet SIGNIT designed on the .NET framework. They will have extensive experience working with the .NET Framework, SQLSERVER, including coding, testing, troubleshooting, and collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Immediate need is to add 1-3 new request types as well as some enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Resource working hours to match our 9/80 schedule & Eastern/Pacific hours
+ Work closely with project lead to understand all requirement and as directed.
+ Gain a good understanding of entire current design and code to avoid unintended errors.
+ Expert in developing new applications or modify existing ones to meet specific requirements.
+ Coding: Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using .NET languages.
+ Thoroughly test and debug applications to ensure they function correctly.
+ Collaborate and work with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, front-end developers, and project leads.
+ Create and maintain technical documentation for the applications.
+ Support and maintain existing applications, addressing issues and making improvements.
+ Identify and address the performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal application responsiveness.
+ Keep abreast of the latest .NET technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
+ Proficiency in .NET Framework:Strong understanding of the .NET framework and its associated technologies (e.g., ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Entity Framework).
+ Programming Skills:Expertise in C# and/or VB.NET programming languages.
+ Software Development Experience:Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications.
+ Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
+ Communication Skills:Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
+ Knowledge of Databases:Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server).
+ SQLSERVER Skill: Proficiency in creating scripts, stored procedures, table & index management as required by the application
+ Cloud:Knowledge & familiarity with IIS & Azure
+ Knowledge & familiarity with windows server functions
+ Testing and Quality Assurance:Knowledge of testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
+ Experience with Version Control:Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
+ Candidate must be US based with a clean background check
+ 5 years of experience required
