Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. Job Description

NBC 5/Telemundo Chicago is seeking interns who have a strong interest in Community Relations and Special Events.

If you are a team player who is looking to learn how to work with Community Leaders and how to organize/participate in different community events this is the internship for you.

Responsibilities:

Help plan, coordinate, and execute community events such as town hall meetings festivals and parade participation.Assist with writing community calendar, social media posts and business correspondences.Help coordinate station appearances and conduct station tours.
