Overview of the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Head of Pricing with financial services and banking/automotive finance products background, to lead our pricing strategy within the automotive financial services sector, focusing on lending & leasing activities. This role requires a forward-thinking individual with expertise in model development and AI solutions to drive innovative pricing strategies and optimize profitability.
What you will do
Development and Implement Pricing Strategies: Lead the finance methodology development and execution of pricing strategies developed by the business for lending and leasing products, ensuring competitiveness and profitability. Identify and utilize data science (MS Azure, ML Studio, R, Phyton) and data engineering (Alteryz, SQL) to improve efficiencies, improve cost and increase profit margins. Design and deliver the next generation of transformative analytics and artificial intelligence technological solutions to address key business challenges and opportunities. Utilize advanced statistical and econometric models to forecast demand, assess market conditions, and set optimal pricing levels. Interpret outputs of statistical models and results; translate input from quantitative analyses into specific and actionable business recommendations contributing to a competitive advantage. Implement AI and machine learning algorithms to enhance pricing accuracy, identify trends, and automate pricing processes. Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives. Continuously monitor pricing performance, analyze key metrics, and make data-driven adjustments to optimize results. Ensure all pricing practices comply with relevant regulations and industry standards. Work with Business Units to develop and implement new and more effective pricing techniques, technologies and processes to increase revenue and customer loyalty. Create tactical analysis and market competitor intelligence to enable business heads to make to inform strategic decision-making. Conduct thorough market analysis to understand industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor pricing. Create and update comprehensive industry, competitor and customer models including, but not limited to, market share, growth projections and trends, and market forces. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of data sources, evaluating their credibility and potential utility, and leverages them across the company where appropriate. Translate data into executable and effective market and intelligence reports focused on standardizing, automating, delivering tools and processes and exploring emerging technologies that drive efficiency. Introducing process improvement, transformation, effective use of innovative technology and data & analytics, and leveraging alternative delivery solutions are key areas of focus to drive additional value. Provide consolidated and timely analysis harnessing multiple data sources to provide the business with an objective insight into current and future performance through regular and ad-hoc reporting through system automation

What equips you for the role
Bachelor’s Degree (MBA Preferred) with demonstrated experience in any of the following: - Business Administration, Economics, Financial Services & Banking. Minimum 10 years’ work experience in a multinational environment. 5+ years of hands-on work experience using analytical tools (e.g., R, Python) to solve real world problems. Distinctive expertise in one of the following machine learning / AI areas: natural language processing, deep learning, anomaly detection, graph-based techniques. Extensive experience in financial services pricing environment, developing and implementing pricing strategies. Experience programming (beyond simple scripts) in a modern scientific language (e.g., Python, Matlab, R) and experience with either TensorFlow, Spark, Java, C#, C++, or C. Knowledge of SQL and SAS would be a plus.
