**Your main tasks and responsibilities:**
+ Develops budgets and business plans to achieve strategic objectives.
+ Ensure territory coverage is complete and specialized for each specific sub-segment – focused on Metals & mining, Biofuels
+ Provide input to product development by assessing market trends, regional feedback, and competitor activities
+ Provides timely feedback to the Head of Sales North America and other senior leaders regarding market performance, representative firm performance and potential opportunities or threats during the scheduled meetings.
+ Ensure complete coverage of the US with segment focused distribution and/or direct personnel
+ Plan and direct campaigns to secure sales to realize full market potential of products/customer and to establish product line acceptance;
+ Provides guidance to Sales Representatives in promoting and securing new and / or major accounts.
+ Oversees the preparation and documentation of major quotations in compliance with sales policies
+ Analyzes and prepares sales forecasts and reports
+ Works closely with other business functions in order to streamline processes and improve overall customer service
+ Partner with marketing to coordinate key national and/or regional trade shows
**To succeed in this role, you will need:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related area and six years of progressive managerial responsibilities.
+ Expertise within the Metals & Mining segment preferred
+ Thorough knowledge of products, markets and services as well as competitor’s products and services.
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
+ Good written and verbal communication skills.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills
