Position Summary

ASSA ABLOY India is looking for a National Sales Head – Projects (Commercial) to lead sales for its different products and brands. The incumbent will provide sales leadership, manage the entire sales team, and sales operations for delivering on sales, profitability and working capital targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and direct implementation of sales strategy and processes in line with business objectives and strategy. Optimize and manage operations at Channels to ensure service levels and maintain supply chain efficiency and meet operational working capital cycle targets Ensure and track sales performance relative to targets on Sales, Gross Margin, Sales and Administrations Costs and working capital   Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives Effectively communicate the value proposition of the business to customers and stakeholders through reviews, proposals and presentations Understand category-specific landscapes and trends; and report on market forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction Work closely with the Product Management organization and develop product strategy for the different products and brands to achieve the desired financial and strategic objectives. Build selling capability among sales team ensuring sales training, on-boarding and personnel development Ensure infrastructure, sales force incentive/commission plans and resources are in place to support sales development Plan and direct organizational activities to achieve agreed targets and standards for financial performance, quality and compliance. Develop and maintain organization culture, values and reputation in market Recruit, develop and provide motivational leadership in building high performance team

Strong operational manager.  Manages and drives performance for sales managers, proactive in addressing hurdles, diligently follows-up. Action-oriented. Thinking and Problem solving.  Strong analytical and conceptual skills to drive performance

 

Education Qualification & Experience required:

Educated to at least Bachelor’s degree level (Masters qualification in Business will be an added advantage) with at least 10 years post-qualification experience in sales leadership. Knowledge and strong interest in opening solutions including door, window and glass hardware.

 

Additional Information:

Ability to work in India with local language and credentials.
