Position Summary:
ICF is seeking a National Initiative Month Campaign Coordinator for Child Welfare Information Gateway, a service of the Children’s Bureau (CB), Administration for Children and Families (ACF), US Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) that centralizes resources for the nation’s child welfare, adoption, and foster care professionals, along with the public.
The National Initiative Month Campaign Coordinator will coordinate the development and delivery of high-impact communications that support child welfare professionals across the country. This position leads matrixed teams to successfully deliver multiple national initiative month campaigns. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented project manager with experience using AI and other innovative tools to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide project management support for the development and execution of national initiative month campaigns (e.g., National Child Abuse Prevention Month, National Foster Care Month).
Coordinate with internal teams and federal partners to create compelling, accessible, and 508-compliant content
Handle end-to-end task management: scoping tasks; creating project plans; developing and managing budgets, internal team schedules, and project milestones
Work with team members to determine needs and develop solutions
Manage campaign calendars, documentation, and approval workflows to ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate across design, editorial, and digital teams to maintain alignment and efficiency.
Support the tracking of campaign performance KPIs and contribute to post-campaign evaluations and reports.
Identify, mitigate, and/or escalate project risks and roadblocks, including scope creep, quality concerns, etc. by communicating early and clearly with internal teams and project leadership
Serve as the central point of contact for campaign-related communications and updates.
Use project management and AI tools to ensure efficient development of deliverables and effective communication
Facilitate team meetings and debrief sessions
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Social Work, Public Administration, or related fields.
3+ years of professional project management or coordination experience, including managing project schedules, managing multiple tasks concurrently, and organization of project documents.
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a government contracting or nonprofit environment
Experience in project/task management applications such as Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Familiarity with federal communications protocols and approval processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet).

Willingness to innovate or create new approaches to reach desired goals
Proficient with M365 applications (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Proficient with virtual communication platforms (Teams, Zoom, Mural, etc.)

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$55,388.00 - $94,160.00Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
