National Business Manager
**The Opportunity** We are hiring a **National Business Manager** for **Iraq** based in either, Lebanon or Jordan. The job holder will be responsible for building and maintaining a high-performance sales organization to effectively achieve business success and strategy implementation. The job holder will report to the NE UAE Head of Sales. **Tasks & responsibilities** + Drive sales and market share targets by expanding patient access to Boehringer Ingelheim products. + Ensure optimal sales processes and country performance to create strategies and plans that maximize opportunities to drive growth + Collaborate cross-functionally, providing field feedback and proposing new activities. + Monitor multi-channel customer engagement plans using all available channels. + Track market developments and competitors' initiatives to stay ahead. + Manage related activities with distributors. + Build stakeholder networks across healthcare and government. + Ensure successful product launches by meeting readiness and performance targets. + Control sales organization costs and promotional investments, implementing corrective measures as needed. + Contribute to Market Access, Healthcare Affairs, and Government Affairs plans and ensure alignment with Integrated Customer Plans (ICPs). + Lead, guide and coach the sales team for strong performance and high engagement. + Ensure all business activities comply with local policies, procedures, and rules. **Requirements** + Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Pharmaceutics, Life Sciences and/or Business Administration + Min. 2 yrs Sales management in the Iraq market; multi-national pharma experience is preferred. + Min. 2 yrs people management experience + Strong distributor management experience + Marketing experience is preferred and understanding of marketing strategy is highly desirable. + Solid understanding of healthcare and regulatory requirements + Business fluent in English & Arabic. + Flexible to travel to Iraq 50% of the time. **Skills and Capabilities** + Strategic development, project management, key account management, problem solving, and change management skills. + Exceptional negotiation skills with a good level of knowledge on market access strategies & tactics. + Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills. + Self-driven, decisive with a high sense of urgency and ability to resolve and overcome hurdles and challenges. + Cross-functionality, networking & enjoy a high level of emotional intelligence. + Utilize resource efficiently to drive results while remaining budget cautious. **Make millions of lives better.
