More About This Team The Commercial Credit department seeks to provide exemplary customer service, risk mitigation, and advisory services, always striving for exceptional performance while profitably growing Commercial Sales. We achieve this by making Credit easy to do business with, fostering collaborative relationships with Professional Installers and AutoZone Field Sales teams, and driving industry-leading customer service through innovation and strategic thinking. We prioritize our customers by offering valuable data-driven recommendations, and we attract, develop, and retain talented, diverse professionals. Additionally, we minimize exposure to bad debt by efficiently processing credit applications, allocating the correct LOC, applying and collecting payments, resolving disputes, and answering questions via our credit hotline and email accounts. The Role at a Glance As a National Account A/R Representative, you will work with multi-unit customers to tackle complex billing and collection issues, ensuring disputes are resolved efficiently. You will use your analytical expertise to identify and report trends affecting AutoZone's commercial customers. Additionally, you will take proactive steps to address billing inquiries and collect past due balances, making a significant impact on the company's financial health. Collaborate with stakeholders: You will work closely with AutoZone national sales management, outside vendors, and commercial customer management to resolve accounts receivable issues and ensure accounts remain in good standing. Address customer inquiries: You will research and respond to customer requests and questions about invoices, statements, and general billing matters, both written and verbal. Monitor customer solvency: You will provide management with insights into customer solvency and creditworthiness, helping to maintain financial health. Maintain account oversight: You will develop and run queries to keep a constant watch on national account aging, ensuring timely follow-up. Recommend improvements: You will identify process and procedure issues and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Single point of contact: You will handle all accounts associated with an issue or dispute, providing customers with a single point of contact to resolve their concerns. Assist customers: You will answer incoming calls and provide customers with requested information about their accounts, including invoice and statement requests, balance details, payment information, and other general account information. What We’re Looking For Experience: You bring a minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, account management Communication and Negotiation: Your excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills help you convey ideas clearly and reach mutually beneficial agreements. Research and Analysis: Your strong research and analytical skills enable you to uncover insights and solve problems effectively.
