Position Summary
The National Account Manager will focus on managing and growing the assigned business for ITW Global Brands (ITWGB). Manage all aspects of the assigned accounts within the Retail Shared Services relationships. Develop and implement innovative sales programs and introduce new products within account assignment. Develop and implement plans to deliver strong net margin growth. Maintain, grow, and develop strong customer relationships. Manage allotted budget within assigned parameters.
This position involves selling the full portfolio of brands to the assigned account(s) which include ITW Car Care, Global Tire Repair, Engine Repair, and Body Repair Divisions. Brands include Rain-X, Fix-a-Flat, Slime, Permatex, Fast Orange, Spray Nine, Scrubs, Gumout, Black Magic, and Evercoat.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management
Lead execution of customer-specific products, pricing, and brand strategy in alignment with divisional goals.Collaborate with Brand Managers to ensure customer priorities are reflected in line reviews and promotional planning.Assist in developing customer-specific strategies and presentations for product line reviews and strategic account discussions.Customer Relationship Development
Build and maintain relationships with buyers, replenishment teams, and other customer stakeholders.Serve as a key point of contact for customer inquiries, strategy alignment, and execution.Financial & System Ownership
Partner with Sales, Finance, and Category teams to manage the full lifecycle of deal setup and execution, ensuring accuracy in pricing, program parameters, and overall profitability.Maintain and update CRM tools, POS tracking, promotional boards, and related sales systems.Manage SD&A spend accuracy and ensure alignment with forecasts and budget expectations.Sales Strategy & Analysis
Partner with Team Lead and Sales Analyst to analyze POS, syndicated data (NPD, Circana), and customer outlook reports to identify growth opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.Partner with Team Lead and Sales Analyst to support forecasting and lead business reviewsCompetitive & Market Intelligence
Evaluate competitive products, pricing, and promotional execution.Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to inform strategy and improve market positioning.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with replenishment teams to ensure inventory alignment for forecasting and promotional execution.Collaborate with Brand Managers and Team Lead on product launches, line reviews, and strategic planning.Event & Trade Show Participation
Plan, manage, and attend customer trade shows and regional meetings as needed to support brand visibility and customer engagement.Other Duties
Maintain Outlook calendar and ensure timely follow-ups and meeting coordination.Support other projects and initiatives as assigned by the Team Lead.30% -50% travel as needed to support sales team.Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field3–5 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer strategy within consumer goods or retailSkills & Abilities
Strong financial acumen with understanding of pricing, margin, and promotional spendProficient in CRM systems, POS tools, and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable strategiesExcellent presentation and relationship-building skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and time managementCollaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Brand teamsCore Competencies

Final Compensation decisions will be made on a variety of factors, but our base salary range is $90,000-$130,000 plus variable compensation target.
