What You'll Do

As the NAMR Operations Strategic Initiative Director, you will work with the senior NAMR operational leaders (both functional and of local offices) to define and prioritize the set of Strategic initiatives, manage the portfolio of projects in a consistent and robust manner, accelerate analytics and specific redesign processes when required, assist functional project owners to drive change throughout the firm, and oversee development of the measurement and monitoring tools that define progress made and value delivered. You will play a key role in evolving internal operations across North America, primarily focused on the areas of travel operations, office experience, administrative services, and vendor procurement.

 

You will also play a critical role in building and reinforcing a NAMR Operations team culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and analytical insight for team members, and in developing junior team members through direct line management and on the job mentoring within assigned projects.

Key Activities and Responsibilities include:

 

Drive operational strategy and large change initiatives across NAMR Operations. Projects could relate to new operating model design and implementation, new digitals products, processes and ways of working. Support travel, vendor management and procurement efforts, ensuring strategic alignment with regional goals. Effectively executing this will require the individual and their team to:

Engage and thought partner with NAMR Operations Leadership by - setting objectives and direction, creating the roadmap, and reporting on progress - of major change efforts with the NAMR Operational spaceLead and deliver on major changes efforts from design through execution, including managing project teams and timelines.Partner with workstream leads to develop deliverables, and determine appropriate ways to navigate complex issues and change management agendasFor travel operations, play an active role in the operations by serving as a conduit between the function and leadershipDevelop business insights through complex data analysis and prepare high-quality presentations for senior leadership.Foster strong relationships to ensure strong teaming, develop team skills and improve the overall success of the project.Become a trusted advisor and be able to support issues, communication and influence outcomes.Manage NAMR Operations Analysis team, overseeing their deployment, recruitment and people management process

What You'll Bring

Significant experience managing, supporting and running change programs in a global organization, Advanced Business degree or Project Management qualification beneficialTrack record of successful change and project management to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness across global organizations. Who You'll Work With

You will report directly to the NAMR Operations and Business Service Executive Director and work closely with a wide range of Operations leadership and teams across North America.
