East Bank Club is a leading fitness, social, and dining destination in Chicago's River North neighborhood. As a Nail Artist, you will have an opportunity to leverage your creativity and passion for beauty to enhance the experience of our clients. Rate of Pay: 30% commission, plus $6.40 per hour and gratuity. Commission structure: 30% of service revenue. Estimated earnings range: $25-30 per hour based on typical services volume. Full-time Schedule: Monday: 9:00am-5:00pm Tuesday: 9:00am-5:00pm Wednesday: 1:00-8:00pm Saturday: 8:00am-5:00pm Sunday: 8:00am-4:00pm Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Responsibilities: + Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service. + Deliver excellent customer service and build rapport with clients. + Provide a variety of nail care services including manicures, pedicures, and gel polish. + Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and techniques. + Sanitize equipment and maintain a clean and organized work area. + Manage inventory and order supplies as needed. + Participate in training programs and attend staff meetings. Requirements + Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. + Illinois Nail Technician license. + Knowledge of nail care products, tools, and techniques. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Detail-oriented and able to multitask. + Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. + Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. + Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. + Must be able to sit or stand for sustained periods of time. + Ability to make movements with fingers, hands, wrists, and arms. + Ability to grasp and reach, sometimes above shoulder level. + Ability to stoop, kneel and crouch.
