Are you ready to change the way the world moves? **This role is a hybrid role located in Lavonia, MI.** **In this role, you will be responsible for:** Leading the planned tech enhancements to our various platforms, specifically: the upgrade of our existing Service Parts Planning system, the launch of the eSPP SAP solution, the SCM interfaces with the upcoming launch of the new Order Management System, and the planned integration of the various SCM planning systems globally into one central planning instance. Additionally, the position will be responsible for the day-to-day inventory planning and control aspects of managing a complex supply chain with over 3K supplier locations, 25 distribution centers, 260K unique parts, 700K SKUs, and more than $1B in inventory. The position will work cross-functionally with Enterprise Tech, the Global Uptime Team, and the Order Management team to ensure SCM has the proper resources and systems in place to allow these organizations/systems to work seamlessly with SCM. The person who fills this role will participate in Vice President & Director level discussions to review our status on Uptime/RAVs, upgrades to our Tech Stack, as well as Finance to review the overall management of FCSD NA's inventory. The position will have at least 6 direct reports and will report to the North American Supply Chain Manager. This position is key role to ensure the proper leadership, direction, and development of the business and team. + Manage overall inventory planning and control aspects of the NA supply chain + Ensure forecasting, inventory planning, DRP, deployment, Surplus & Obsolescence, and TRT/Cycle Time settings are achieving objectives + Work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Purchasing to ensure the most efficient use of our inventory/capital to maximize part availability, optimizing material cost, and efficiently using our existing warehouse footprint + Oversee the VOR/RAV/UA team to ensure we have appropriate engagement to resolve part availability issues leading to down units at our dealerships + Ensure root cause analysis is completed highlighting failure modes both inside and outside SCM and drive for resolution + Participate in required meetings/report outs and provide tracking of part availability clearance metrics + Work to reduce VOR aging for 3 most recent MYs to a max of 10 days + Lead the transformation of the SCM Tech Stack including + Upgrade from existing SPP to SPP S4/HANA SAP solution + Build out eSPP SAP solution + Ensure SCM interfaces with new Order Management solution are working as expected + Drive the integration of the various global inventory planning/management systems into one global instance built on the SAP eSPP platform + Partner with GDIA to develop new and improved forecast algorithms, a tool to model inventory plan/parameter changes prior to implementation, and determine how AI can be integrated into the NA Supply Chain **You’ll have:** + BA/BS Degree Required – Supply Chain/Engineering Degree Preferred + Ability to work with large cross-functional teams both local and remote + Strong organizational and administrative skills + Ability to multi-task, strong problem-solving, conflict management skills, an understanding of how the entire system is integrated, and urgency to resolve critical issues quickly + Outstanding interpersonal, team building, and communication skills **Even better, if you have:** + Broad Cross-functional experience within PS&L and prior experience in Supply Chain preferred You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
