The NA Lead for Assembly and Propulsion Plants CPL (Customer Plant Lead) will have the responsibility to manage a team of CPLs who utilize information from warranty, part returns, and service to identify actionable issues.
Responsibilities:
Must have a proven record of accomplishment for developing and leading people, executing standardization of processes, and achieving quality goals and key performance indicators Must have experience in managing cross-functionally and possess a broad knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, supplier quality, and after-sales Must be a creative problem solver, proactive, and steadfast in the identification and assignment of field issues Must exhibit outstanding teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skillsThe specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage a team of CPLs located within US and Canada Participate and Audit Short Loop meetings to determine best practices Create standardized processes based on best practices discovered during audits Ensure best practices are followed and strive for continuous improvement Implement streamlined, automated processes Ensure maximum GIM warranty coverage Support cross-functional team Blitz coverage meetings and push for Issue Manager assignments Approve documentation such as Global Issue Management issues that are generated by the CPLs to ensure standardization prior to publication Ensure claims are properly bucketed (assigned to issues) Research to combine buckets or issues with other buckets for potential GIM creation Develop and maintain KPIs to track the progress and effectiveness of claim reviews and team performance Provide continuous technical and training assistance and coachingBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering; other bachelor's degrees would be considered with relevant work experience 7+years' experience in engineering, manufacturing, supplier operations or quality Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to collect and synthesize data into meaningful information and communicate clearly to all levels of the organization Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills Detail oriented, team player, flexible, ability to prioritize, quick learner Proficient in both writing and speaking the English language
