Job Title: Machine Operator – 1st Shift (Temp-to-Hire)
Pay: $17.75/hour
Hours:M-F, 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM (First day: 8:00 AM start)

We're looking for experienced Machine Operators to join our team in a manufacturing environment. This position starts as a temporary role with the possibility of permanent placement based on performance and attendance.

As a Machine Operator, you’ll be responsible for operating equipment, inspecting parts, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Attention to detail, flexibility, and strong English-speaking skills are essential for safety and team communication.
Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work plans Perform repetitive heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) Operate machines and tools according to safety and quality guidelines Use gauges, calipers, and other precision measuring tools Maintain proper levels of coolant and lubrication Secure materials using vises, fixtures, and other holding devices Inspect parts using pin and thread gauges Contribute to weekly improvement ideas and team-based activities Keep work area clean and organized Wear required PPE at all times (provided)
  Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or GED Previous manufacturing experience Strong English communication skills (spoken and written) Ability to pass safety training test on day one
Preferred:
Experience in precision machining Blueprint reading Use of standard measuring instruments Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  Important Details: Candidates must be flexible to work in any department. Steel-toe shoes required from day one (not provided) PPE such as hearing protection, gloves, and safety glasses are provided All candidates must pass Safety Training during orientation to continue
