As a Multimedia Specialist, you will lead the creation of impactful short- and long-form video content, in-house photography, and digital signage while managing multiple internal communication initiatives. You will blend hands-on production with strategic input, contributing to creative direction, project management, and storytelling that supports organizational goals.

What You’ll Do

You’ll plan, shoot, and edit a variety of internal videos, including short-form content (e.g., executive updates, quick stories) and long-form productions (e.g., training, employee features, town halls).You’ll own all technical and creative aspects of video production: camera operation, lighting, sound, direction, interviews, and post-production.You’ll develop storyboards, pitch concepts, write scripts, and create content for employee TV shows, training materials, short-form videos, digital signage graphics, and social media posts.You’ll serve as the in-house photographer for events, headshots, campaigns, and other internal visual needs, while editing and optimizing photos for use across internal platforms.You’ll lead the planning and execution of photo and video shoots, providing support for internal, community, and corporate events.You’ll manage the company’s digital signage platform, including content strategy, scheduling, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination, to ensure timely and effective messaging.You’ll build and execute comprehensive internal communication programs that help employees understand the organization’s structure, goals, vision, and key initiatives.You’ll contribute to the development and execution of HR’s digital media strategy across multiple internal distribution platforms.You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Marketing, eBusiness, Public Affairs, and executive teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging, while also generating fresh content ideas.You’ll lead and manage multimedia projects from concept through completion, ensuring they are aligned with communication strategy, delivered on time, and meet business goals.You’ll bring creative and strategic thinking to visual storytelling, finding engaging ways to highlight people, departments, research, achievements, and events.You’ll maintain and organize production equipment to ensure everything is in proper working order.

What You’ll Need

You’ll have a four-year degree in Communications, Multimedia Arts, Digital Media, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.You’ll bring 5+ years of experience in multimedia production and internal communications, including hands-on video creation, editing, corporate photography, digital signage management, and the development of internal communication materials such as intranet content, newsletters, and HR campaigns.You’ll have advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat, as well as experience with Canva and similar design tools.You’re comfortable using professional video editing and production tools, such as Final Cut Pro and iMovie, and you can confidently manage audio, lighting, and multi-camera setups both in studio and on location.You’ll have experience managing digital signage platforms, with required familiarity in Poppulo and Four Winds.You have working knowledge of Igloo Software or comparable intranet platforms, and the ability to create engaging content for internal digital workspaces.You’re highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams, and you understand how to translate messages into visual formats effectively.You have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences and present creative ideas to stakeholders at all levels.You’re resourceful, adaptable, and able to troubleshoot creative and technical challenges in dynamic environments, whether you're filming in a controlled studio or at a live event.You’re available and willing to travel throughout Southern California and occasionally out of state to support meetings, conferences, and events; this role requires an in-office presence during business hours with occasional evening or weekend assignments.You’re responsible for maintaining current licenses for photo and video assets, and for ensuring all content is aligned with brand, legal, and copyright standards.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$84,100.00 - $111,900.00

Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
