Job Summary/Description:

WLBT in Jackson, Mississippi, is looking for a curious thinker who wants to tell thoughtful stories. If you have an investigative mind and would enjoy working for the largest media organization in the state, we encourage you to apply for this Multi-Media Journalist position.

Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Pitch thoughtful, impactful stories daily
- Shoot, write, and edit stories for on-air and digital platforms
- Present engaging live shots
- Required to be knowledgeable about current events and issues
- Required to be knowledgeable about civic and legal processes

Qualifications/Requirements:

- College degree or equivalent military/work experience in a journalism, communications, or political science-related field
- Television newsroom experience is preferred
