Job Title: Multimedia Designer Location: Vienna, VA, Winchester, VA or Pensacola, FL Contractor Work Model: Hybrid, onsite 2-3 days a week Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Pay Rate: Open to W2 Position Type: Multiyear Contract Looking for candidates with 3-5 years of experience (not a senior role). Description To design and develop basic to moderately complex multimedia elements (graphics; animations; audio; video and print) to support employee learning and development initiatives and business unit objectives across the organization. To create courseware to meet business unit training needs and enhance the employee learning experience. To provide multimedia services to help deliver key communications and enable greater productivity. Responsibilities: • Create Articulate Storyline/promotional games and animations - Moderately Complex/Varied • Create dynamic instructional and training materials using current technologies including references and support tools that reinforce training, increase efficiency and help produce error-free work • Create original designs for product demonstrations, quick reference guides, fact sheets, executive presentations, brochures/catalogs/flyers, web designs, videos, and logos/icons - Moderately Complex/Varied • Design the graphical user interface; create and/or enhance images and video and audio formats; convert analog movies to digital format - Moderately Complex/Varied • Develop and create print design and support materials including agenda booklets, banners and signage (branding), name tags, name tents, network maps, eGram announcements, etc. - Moderately Complex/Varied • Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions that align with business goals - Moderate analysis • Collaborate with a wide range of internal business contacts to implement processes, new applications and system enhancements - Participates in • Conduct and/or facilitate user acceptance testing to include developing and executing test cases, communication with project teams, validating and documenting results - Participates in • Ensure clear, concise and effective communication of material - Participates in • Maintain and improve knowledge through professional associations, conferences, and seminars – Experienced • Monitor assigned projects to ensure that goals and objectives are completed according to schedule; collaborate with project teams to ensure all business needs are met - Moderate impact • Serve on teams and task groups for projects/initiatives within the business unit &/or across the organization - Participates in Qualifications • Experience in creating animations and interactive elements for e-Learning courseware in animation software • Experience in developing graphical user interfaces • Experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals • Experience in multimedia development and production, preferably in a corporate setting • Experience in recording/editing audio, video, and digital photographs for e-Learning courseware and other media formats • Experience in working and participating in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects • Working knowledge of media principles, including an understanding of the uses and advantages/disadvantages of different media channels • Working knowledge of training techniques and practices • Effective database and presentation software skills • Effective organizational, planning and time management skills • Effective research, analytical, and problem solving skills • Effective skill capturing and translating processes and requirements into easily understood terms • Effective skill communicating with all levels within an organization • Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions • Effective verbal and written communication skills System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
