Danfoss Hydraulics Division is actively seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician for the 2nd shift to join our dedicated team at our Van Wert, Ohio facility.
The Maintenance Repair Technician will be tasked with constructing, overhauling, diagnosing, and repairing all industrial production machinery in accordance with company standards. In this capacity, you will ensure machinery is maintained to the highest standards, collaborate with maintenance and production leaders to prioritize tasks effectively, consistently adhere to safety protocols, attend relevant training seminars, and enhance your skills through cross-training and professional development opportunities.
Wage range $28 to $33 dollars per hour, Starting pay dependent on documented years of experience in the industrial multi-craft maintenance field and associated technical schooling.

What You’ll Be Doing Acquire, implement, and retain innovative techniques, concepts, and procedures essential for the ongoing enhancement of products, processes, services, deliveries, and overall quality. It is necessary to read and comprehend blueprints, control plans, routers, job instructions, and measurement tools. Exhibit flexibility to transition between work areas as required to fulfill customer delivery expectations and achieve the plant's productivity goals. Collaborate with PLC, PC, and CNC controls proficiently as required for maintenance tasks. Utilize various hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and construction machinery effectively. Construct, reconstruct, and troubleshoot repairs for all facility machinery to meet company standards.
What We're Looking For
High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) required.
Completion of a Federal or State Certified Multi-Craft Maintenance OR Machine Repair Apprenticeship OR a minimum of two (2) years documented experience working in the trade.
Electro-hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret ladder logic. Understanding of Total Productive Mfg. (TPM) philosophy.
