What this job involves:
As a Multi-skilled Technician at JLL, you will be responsible for monitoring, inspection, and minor repair work across facility operations while maintaining a world-class working environment that creates wonderful workplace experiences for employees. This hands-on technical role combines multi-trade skills in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry with exceptional customer service delivery, requiring you to respond to service calls, conduct regular site inspections, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless facility operations. You will play a crucial role in JLL's commitment to operational excellence by identifying opportunities for improved service delivery while ensuring compliance with safety standards and client contract requirements.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Manage day-to-day facilities operations using multi-trade skills in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry to maintain world-class working environmentsAttend to general employee requests including setup, minor repairs, AC adjustments, and other facility-related needs while responding to service calls promptlyConduct regular site walkthrough inspections, documenting faults found, reporting issues, and providing recommendations for rectification until closureInspect buildings to confirm safety standards while identifying, planning, and reporting major areas needing repair or maintenance attentionCoordinate repairs with FM team and local contractors when issues cannot be resolved locally, ensuring minimal disruption to operationsRespond to all work orders in timely manner ensuring KPI compliance and excellent customer service while assisting with critical out-of-hours issuesProvide events support and meeting/conference facility assistance while coordinating with Facilities Managers, fellow MSTs, coordinators, housekeeping personnel, and vendors.Required Qualifications:
Technical certification or diploma in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or carpentry tradesMinimum 3-5 years of experience in multi-skilled maintenance or facilities operationsStrong technical knowledge and experience with site maintenance deliverablesAbility to produce and handwrite shop drawings and technical documentationKnowledge of safety standards and building inspection proceduresStrong problem-solving skills with ability to make independent repair determinationsExcellent communication skills for coordinating with multiple stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:
Multiple trade certifications in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentryExperience in commercial or corporate facility maintenance environmentsKnowledge of HVAC systems, building management systems, and facility equipmentExperience with emergency response procedures and critical issue resolutionFamiliarity with KPI tracking and customer service metrics in facilities managementBackground in vendor coordination and contractor managementExperience supporting events and conference facility operations.Location: Onsite
