I'm partnering with a leading provider of specialist lifting solutions is seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team at a major manufacturing facility. With a long-standing reputation for excellence and safety, the company has recently secured a significant long-term contract, offering stability and growth opportunities.

The Role

This is a hands-on role suited to a proactive, team-oriented engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

You’ll be part of a skilled engineering team responsible for:

Electrical and mechanical breakdown response Preventive maintenance Installation and improvement projects Ensuring uptime and reliability of complex crane systems

Key Skills & Experience

Technical Skills:

Preventive maintenance to a high standard Electrical systems: sensors, limit switches, motors, brakes, distribution Electrical fault-finding Basic PLC/inverter knowledge (advantageous) Mechanical skills: bearings, wheels, load ropes, bench fitting Welding skills (desirable)

Requirements:

Time-served Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (ONC/HNC or equivalent) NVQ Level 3 with 3+ years of site experience Comfortable working at height Strong health & safety awareness Excellent communication and teamwork Familiarity with safe systems of work (RAMS, PTW, isolations) Ability to build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
