All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Full-Time **Shift** : Monday - Friday **Location:** 900 Hope Way Altamonte Springs, FL 32714 **The role you'll contribute:** The Corporate Services Chaplain is responsible for providing, modeling, and mentoring spiritual care and nurture within the Corporate Services Region of AdventHealth. Participates as a member of the regional Mission & Ministry team. Provides core mission services, including spiritual support, team member well-being, education and training, and community involvement. Provides spiritual support to onsite and fully remote team members and conducts regularly scheduled rounding to regional facilities and maintain documentation of spiritual support activity. Coordinates spiritual programming and events that enhance a culture of Inspire, Connect, Care, and Serve. Manages team member volunteer ministry efforts. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Team Member Support (60% of role) + Provides spiritual support to team members within their assigned setting. + Provides active listening and encouragement + Mentors and supports department leader(s) to spiritually nurture their team(s). + Nurtures a spiritual care culture within the corporate setting by mentoring and modeling spiritual support to team members in pursuit of spiritual support as a shared responsibility + Practices the ministry of presence by rounding in regional facilities and maintaining an ongoing schedule of office hours within their assigned regions and facilities. + Provides inspirational messages and devotionals for team meetings as appropriate. + Manages the promotion, recruitment and training for the regional implementation of volunteer ministry efforts, such as the Spiritual Ambassador program. + Collects and reports stories and experiences that highlight the impact of mission integration in their region. + Maintains a log of care visits by date, documenting any pertinent information for management. + Adheres to required metric accountabilities and data collection set forth by AHS leadership. + Participate in onboarding new team members to mission initiatives. + Implements and supports additional mission-based initiatives as assigned. + Mission Programming (30% of role) + Coordinate annual and monthly programs that provide spiritual enrichment for the regional community. + Assist with mission projects and initiatives, as assigned by the regional mission leader. + Collaborate with various departments and engage best practices to ensure the high-quality execution on programs and exceptional team member experiences. + Aligned programming with regional Mission & Ministry strategy and objectives. + Community Support (10% of role) + Participates in and helps coordinate community events as assigned (e.g., Mission Trips, School Supply Drive, Family Share Fund, etc.). Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:** **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED** **:** + Master's of Divinity degree or + Master's of Science in Spiritual Care or + Master's other graduate level degree (72-hour minimum) in theology, religion or related field, or 10 years of congregational pastoral experience. + Ability to work under stress and manage time effectively. + Effectively relate to and consistently provide meaningful spiritual care to team members from diverse religious, educational, and cultural backgrounds. + Ability to demonstrate pastoral qualities by earning the respect of healthcare professionals in the corporate context. + Willingness to lead inspirational messages, public prayer, as well as individual and group support. + Goal-Oriented. + Adaptable to changes and provides creative solutions to challenges. **LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:** + Endorsement by recognized faith community. + Ordination/Commissioning or Licensure **LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:** + Minimum of one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education, at a center accredited by ACPE, Inc. + 4 or more units of Clinical Pastoral Education, at a center accredited by ACPE, Inc + Board Certification with the Association of Professional Chaplains This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
