The Position

As a Multi-Country Compliance Expert CEETRIS, based in Istanbul, Turkey, you will be responsible for supporting local compliance experts and GMs to establish and maintain a comprehensive compliance management system (CMS), depending on their local needs. In alignment with senior leadership of PCO, you will collaborate with the affiliate compliance expert or the GM to identify local needs in the CMS, such as risk assessment, monitoring activities, or the local implementation of global initiatives and projects. You will identify synergies across countries, build networks, and streamline processes, ensuring that compliance efforts align with global CMS and support organisational growth. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing effective compliance frameworks, mitigating risks, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. 

You will report to the Head of Compliance EEMEAIS and work closely with the Global Pharma Compliance Office (PCO) as well as Compliance Officers from the CEETRIS cluster and beyond.

What will you do

Support Local Compliance Systems: Work with local compliance experts and General Managers (GMs) to establish and maintain a comprehensive compliance management system (CMS) tailored to local needs.

Collaborate with Leadership: In alignment with senior leadership of the Pharma Compliance Office (PCO), collaborate with affiliate compliance experts and GMs to identify local compliance needs, such as risk assessments, monitoring activities, and the local implementation of global initiatives and projects.

Identify Synergies and Build Networks: Identify synergies across different countries and build networks to streamline compliance processes.

Ensure Alignment with Global CMS: Ensure that local compliance efforts are in alignment with the global compliance management system and support organizational growth.

Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate monitoring activities to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Monitoring: Establish effective monitoring activities to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.

Implementation of Global Activities and Projects: Facilitate the local implementation of global initiatives and projects, ensuring they are adapted to meet local compliance needs and integrated smoothly into the existing compliance management systems.

Stakeholder Communication: Communicate and coordinate effectively with the Head of Compliance EEMEAIS, the Global Pharma Compliance Office, and Compliance Officers from the CEETRIS cluster and beyond.

Who you are

Ethical Leader: Committed to maintaining high ethical standards and fostering a culture of integrity.

Compliance Expert: Sound understanding of pharmaceutical regulations in sales, marketing, medical affairs, and healthcare, with at least 2 years of experience in Compliance or a similar function.

Problem Solver: Capable of quickly understanding and analysing complex situations to find pragmatic solutions and embracing a proactive and hands-on approach to compliance initiatives.

Relationship Builder: Adept at fostering collaborative relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and external parties across diverse cultural backgrounds to drive compliance initiatives.

Language Proficiency: Fluency in both written and spoken English is required. Proficiency in any other language is a valuable asset.

Travel Requirements: 60%
