Summary of Role:
Provide oversight, direction, and program management across operations to ensure compliance and continued development of key EHS programs.
Essential Responsibilities:
Provide oversight, direction, and program management across operations to ensure compliance and continued development of key EHS programs. Provide technical support for environmental engineering related operational and design topics. Summarize and communicate new regulatory requirements and their impacts and provide technical support to meet or exceed those requirements. Provide compliance assessments and guidance for existing operations. Provide direct support to GF locations as needed, leveraging experience and expertise. Provide technical and permitting support for design of new facilities or expansions. Promote global integration and team building. Provide for technical EHS leadership and support on a global basis. Provide operational support in manufacturing environments. Anticipate, recognize, and properly evaluate EHS concerns. Help identify and implement best-practice environmental and employee health and safety controls. Develop innovative solutions which require application of practical knowledge, experience and creativity. Define goals and technical strategies. Effectively work with and lead others to attain goals. Use data-driven techniques to identify and evaluate health/safety trends both inside and outside of the Company. Maintain knowledge of and utilize professional advancements in EHS disciplines. Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, both inside and outside of the Company. Influence external activities through standard-setting initiatives, seminar’s, industry associations, etc. Mentor less experienced staff. 10% travel, primarily domestic, with some international travel possible, to attend conferences and for cross site learning.
Other Responsibilities:
· Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.
Required Qualifications:
· Education - PhD or foreign equivalent in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field.
· Experience – 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered, or any Environmental Engineering related job titles. Requires 3 years of experience in:
1. Monitoring and communicating regulatory requirements and their implications.
2. PFAS in wastewater data analysis and review Collecting data, providing information and reports as needed to support compliance programs.
3. Collecting data, providing information and reports as needed to support compliance programs.
4. Presenting to executive management and engaging and collaborating with external stakeholders.
5. Broad EHS programs.
6. Wastewater design and operation of the wastewater systems chemistry and engineering principles and calculations
Salary range: $137,700– $175,100
