Job Summary:

Job Description:

PayPal, Inc. seeks MTS 2, Process Engineering in San Jose, CA

Job Duties: Conduct fact-based analyses including data collection, data analyses, and synthesis of data to generate key insights for projects and to identify root causes when process performance exceeds control limits. Drive the implementation of process improvement initiatives across various departments within the organization to achieve operational excellence. Define KPIs and implement measurement framework to understand the performance of assigned processes, using control charts to monitor performance and maintain performance within acceptable limits. Develop presentations for and recommend strategies to senior management to optimize business processes for achievement of primary metrics, including business cases with quantified financial benefits. Once approved and in execution, facilitate discussions on project or program progress, results, and assistance needed from senior management. Establish and maintain process documentation, including process models, standard operating procedures, and work instructions. Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure process improvements align with business objectives. Provide training and support to team members on new processes and process improvements. Mentor Revenue Operations peers and leaders on Six Sigma and general process analysis and engineering best practices. Telecommuting permitted – work can be performed from anywhere in the U.S.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Special Skill Requirements:

1. Experience in performing statistical and data analysis using software applications, including Minitab and MS Excel (5 years).

2. Experience in creating Process maps using software applications, including Visio (5 years).

3. Experience in leading projects end to end from inception to closure using software applications, including MS project and MS Excel (5 years).

4. Experience defining KPIs and implementing measurement framework to monitor performance through control charts using software applications, including Minitab and MS Excel (5 years).

5. Experience planning and leading Kaizen working sessions for cross functional teams to execute rapid improvement initiatives (5 years).

6. Experience with establishing and maintaining process documentation, Standard operating procedures and work instructions (5 years).

7. Experience creating dashboards, and using data visualization tools to showcase current performance using software applications, including Tableau and PowerBI (5 years).

8. Experience recommending strategies to senior management to optimize business processes for achieving primary metrics and financial benefits using software applications, including MS PowerPoint and MS Excel (5 years).

9. Experience providing training and mentorship to peers and leaders on Lean Six sigma and general process analysis (3 years).

Salary: $132,101.00-177,625.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
