The Morgan Stanley Private Credit Platform (“MSPC”) is the primary private credit platform at Morgan Stanley. MSPC sits within MSIM and has a proven long-term track record of investing in private credit. We primarily invest in directly originated middle market loans and invests throughout the capital structure across a wide range of industry sectors. This newly created role within the Operations team will primarily focus on deal execution across the private credit platform. The individual will partner with existing Operations team personnel to successfully execute all deal closing related activity including primaries, incrementals, secondaries, internal transfers, amendments and restructurings. The individual will also be expected to be a key member in contributing to the build-out of MSPC’s agency process to support a growing pipeline of deals in which MSPC is expected to be selected as Administrative Agent.
The individual should expect to have responsibilities including but not limited to:
Work with internal teams including Operations, Finance and Liability Management to ensure sufficient funding is available in advance for all deal execution activityAssist Operations team in providing KYC to Administrative Agents in advance of deal closingsProvide allocations to agents and review funding notices to ensure that allocations and economics reconcile to MSPC’s internal recordsCommunicate relevant deal related information to downstream service providers such as fund administrators, trustees and shadow books and records providerReview security master detail to ensure that all mandatory fields are populated and accurate in advance of trade bookingsBook trades within MSPC’s order management system and confirm the successful transmission downstream to relevant service providersEnsure that fundings are released as early as possible after all internal and external approvals have been receivedAssist in agency-related operational tasks for deals in which MSPC is selected as Administrative AgentWork with MSPC sub-agent, Alter Domus, to collect borrower and lender KYCCoordinate and obtain allocations for all lenders in the syndicate to be provided to sub-agentPrepare, review and reconcile funds flow in coordination with MSPC Operations, Investment Team and relevant sponsor or deal counselAssist with all internal communication needed across Operations, Finance, Liability Management and Investment Team to ensure successful deal executionBe a key point person to answer inbound deal execution related questions from external parties including sponsor, deal counsel, lenders and sub-agentConstantly review and determine best practices and areas of improvement in deal execution processQualifications

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $125,000 and $140,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
