MSP Deployment Specialist

The Mechatronics and Sustainable Packaging (MSP) Deployment Specialist will be responsible for deployment and launch of MSP related programs and hardware, rapid response to emergency downtime events, and deployment and development of best practices for sustainment of Universal Item Sorters (UIS) while enhancing equipment reliability as it pertains to the predictive and preventative maintenance practices. This position will also provide hands-on technical expertise to identify and fix critical issues while providing hands on SME (Subject Matter Expert) support to site level technicians on how to properly execute all of the above.  This position is not only a leader in the MSP Space, but also a technical expert and coach with the ability to deploy at a site level leaving the local team better prepared for future MSP requirements. 

Responsibilities will include:

Provide deployment support of critical and timely MSP programs and initiatives as determined by the client teamProvide technical leadership, expertise, and training to site during and post launchAssist and support emergency response to sites during extenuated downtime events with little noticeFind, correct, teach, and drive corrective actions based on preventative maintenance audits to increase operational up-time for a site and the entire Reliability Maintenance and Engineering (RME) networkProvide technical direction and guidance in system issue troubleshooting and root cause analysis supporting as an MSP SMECoach and mentor Technicians by providing clear and concise guidance and direction, as well as the ability to demonstrate proper procedures and protocol to help them achieve site and network Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI’s)

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to work all days and shifts, including overnight and weekendsAbility to travel 100% of the timeAbility to rapidly deploy during downtime emergencies in support of site recoveryProven ability to lead as a technician while successfully operating in an autonomous environment

Experience and proficiency in the following areas:

Experience working within large, diverse, matrixed and remote teamsDemonstrated adherence to site safety training requirements and initiatives with an unyielding focus on personal and team safetyAbility to work independentlyAbility to communicate effectively, (written and verbally) with peers, management, and senior leadershipRobust knowledge of:MSP ProgramsKnowledge of CMMS programsPreventative maintenance proceduresRME Safety PracticesUIS MaintenanceAbility to maintain, troubleshoot, and modify program UIS componentsStrong skills in areas of organization and process managementResults driven – the ability to analyze, act, and implement to ensure desired results are achievedTeam player who is willing to roll up the sleevesSelf-motivated and customer-centricExperience in business analysis and process re-engineeringExperience with email and MS ExcelLeadership experience/aptitude

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing UIS machinesExperience traveling and supporting launch and emergency response requests

Physical Demands
