Kforce has a client that is seeking a Systems Engineer in Philadelphia, PA. Duties: * Windows Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including server patching, upgrades, Windows Firewall, and performance tuning * Active Directory Administration: Manage AD user accounts, security groups, group policies, and domain controllers; Maintain AD health and perform regular backups and restorations * Azure Administration: Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources, including InTune, Defender, virtual machines, Azure Active Directory (AAD), and cloud services * Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance and security * Security Management: Implement best practices for security, including regular security updates, vulnerability assessments, and compliance management * Recovery and Business Continuity Implementation: Implement and manage backup processes, business continuity tools and disaster recovery strategies. Troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft Environments including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, AD, and Azure * Automation and Scripting: Use PowerShell or other scripting languages to automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency * Documentation: Author, Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures * Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, non-technical clients and customer service teams to support business applications and services * Identity and Access Management: Support least privilege user schemes, multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO) * Virtualization: Experience with virtualization Hyper-V and containerized applications
