Key Responsibilities

Provide first-level support for Linux-based systems and applicationsMonitor system performance, perform routine maintenance, and escalate issues as neededAssist in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related problemsSupport deployment and configuration of Linux servers and toolsDocument incidents, resolutions, and standard operating proceduresCollaborate with senior engineers and application teams to ensure system stabilityParticipate in shift rotations, including potential midnight shifts for coverageBe available for onsite support at Taiwan 101 when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL)Basic understanding of system administration tasks (e.g., file systems, user management, logs)Willingness to learn financial services operations and application support workflowsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a team-oriented environmentFlexibility to work non-standard hours when neededEnglish communication. No need to be expert but can communicate orally or in writing.

Preferred Attributes

Prior experience in IT support or helpdesk rolesExposure to scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) is a plusInterest in pursuing certifications such as RHCSA, CompTIA Linux+Experience in Financial Services Industry is plus
