Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine **We are searching for the best talent for a MRP-Planning Lead role (fixed term -12 months planned)** **to be located in Schaffhausen, Switzerland.** **Position Overview** The Materials Requirements Planner is responsible for co-ordination and execution of all activities related to the planning and procurement of raw materials and packaging components. They convert the output of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and the Detailed Schedule (DS) into material requirements to ensure availability of the right quantity of components to the production lines when needed. The MRP aligns the plan with their suppliers within the agreed lead times. They optimize the flow of materials, considering the plants warehouse capacity and inventory targets. They proactively mitigate potential supply disruptions, optimizing storage costs and avoiding material scrap (SLOB). **Key Responsibilities** + Develops and maintains a Materials Requirements Plan (MRP) in the ERP systems. Communicates and aligns this with their suppliers. + Converts requirements to purchase orders. + Supports material change process at site. + Refreshes and adapts plans as part of the monthly IBP process. + Maintains inventory levels to target. Minimizes excess, obsolete and expired materials. Identifies optimization opportunities. + Regularly monitors stock levels and takes action if risks are foreseen. Works with the supplier to improve and escalates within the STEM process. + Collaborates cross functionally to mitigate supply or quality issues. + Accountable to manage and drive supplier performance. Leads SOP meetings with suppliers and partners with Global Procurement. Delivers supplier improvements and adherence to quality. Ensures supplier OTIF. + Ensures a timely return of goods or disposal of rejected materials through collaboration with Quality and Warehouse and supplier. + Identifies and drives continuous improvement initiatives. + Supports the material and component introduction and Phase Out processes. **Qualifications** **Education:** + A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or related field is required. + Supply Chain Certification is a benefit e.g. APICS. + Lean Certification is desirable. **Experience:** + 3+ years of relevant Supply Chain experience (including manufacturing, logistics, planning) is required. + Planning experience is an advantage. + Experience in healthcare or similarly complex, regulatory dependent sector is preferred. **Knowledge, Skills and capabilities:** + Strong written and oral communications skills (English required, German desirable) are critical for success in this role. + Supply chain planning experience required, preferably in a multi-echelon supply chain. + Experience working with external (local and international) partners (suppliers, authorities, etc.) are preferred. + Experience in the use of SAP and/or OMP is preferred. + High proficiency with Microsoft software packages (Excel, PowerPoint) + Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo + Highly motivated and proactive with a sense of urgency. **Why join Johnson & Johnson** A multifaceted challenge in a dynamic, international environment with attractive terms and career opportunities as well as a good infrastructure at the J&J Innovative Medicine site Schaffhausen. + Many opportunities to work on exciting projects and assignments in a dynamic work environment + A broad spectrum of training opportunities to grow further for personal as well as professional development + The Johnson & Johnson Pension Fund Switzerland offers attractive performance + A range of benefits for insurance, childcare, products, sport, culture and much more Working at Johnson & Johnson is more than a job.
