Collins Aerospace is looking to hire a dedicated and detail-oriented **MRO Quality Engineer** to join our team. In this role, you’ll contribute to the development and execution of quality engineering processes that support high-performance products and systems. As an individual contributor, you will apply your knowledge of quality practices to evaluate and enhance control systems and protocols, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement across operations. **What You will Do**
+ Provide technical support to internal and external customers as it relates to escapes, Quality Management System procedures, regulations and compliance related questions.
+ Ensure repair station is in compliance with all associated quality procedures and policies including quality requirements driven by the FAA/EASA/CAA/CAAC and future regulatory agencies
+ Perform and lead internal Quality audits per the AS9110 standard
+ Coordinate and host customer audits
+ Assist in activities associated with supplier quality, warranty process, part purges and MRB activities
+ Perform and lead Relentless Root Cause and Corrective Action (RRCA) for any quality issues within repair station
+ Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality evaluation, control systems and protocols.
+ Provides analysis and explanations of testing and inspection plans, methods and technologies to assure reliability and conformance of products and processes.
+ Analyzes and makes recommendations for corrective actions for nonconformities and/or design problems for internally produced products & processes.
+ Manages processes to ensure all requirements are met for work transfer and process change management including Resourcing Gate and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance.
+ Reviews process control documentation to ensure it is in compliance with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts.
+ Develops, modifies, applies and maintains Quality evaluation, control systems and protocols for materials being processed into partially finished or finished products.
+ Working with product design and specifications, devises testing plans, methods and equipment to assure reliability of product. Collaborates internally to ensure quality standards are in effect.
+ Ensures that projects and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contracts.
+ Develops proactive Quality initiative strategies and drives their implementation.
+ Performs escape management procedures, root cause analysis, and recommends corrective action for design problems for internally produced products & processes.
+ Designs and implements product engineering changes to satisfy Quality issues raised by customers.
+ Responsible for both Program and Product Quality Engineering.
+ Responsible for development of new inspection technologies or methodologies to assure product conformance.
**Qualifications You Must Have**
+ Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience **or** an Advanced Degree in a related field
**Qualifications We Prefer**
+ FAA Part 145 experience
+ Repair Shop experience
+ Familiarity with AS9110
+ Experience with RCCA
+ Previous auditing and supplier quality experience
+ Flexibility and willingness to take on additional tasks outside of the core Quality role

**Onsite:** Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
**This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines.** Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
