Your role at Clorox:

The Clorox Company is seeking a qualified candidate for a MRO Materials Coordinator position at our Aberdeen, MD facility. This facility uses automated packaging equipment and utilities to manufacture and distribute Clorox Liquid Bleach products. The purpose of this position is to ensure that the plant has the MRO materials it needs to make quality product in a timely manner. The MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) Materials Coordinator (MMC) is responsible for performing the work necessary to efficiently operate and maintain a central parts storeroom following established practices, procedures, and standards. In addition, the MMC is responsible for the organization and upkeep of the stock room and parts/tools storage areas.

Hourly rate: $37.17 with opportunities to advance through a skill-based pay system. In a skill-based pay system, associates advance by learning and using the job-related skills and knowledge acquired as they progress through each skill level.

Rotational Shifts: (1st, 2nd, 3rd) Candidate may need to be available on a rotational shift our hours include 1st shift: (7am – 3:30pm) 2nd shift: (3pm – 11:30pm), 3rd shift: (11pm – 7:30am). Flexibility with overtime on a as business needs arise.

In this role, you will:

Using excellent team and interpersonal skills, maintain good working relationships with all contacts at this plant and interact professionally with suppliers, vendors and delivery services.  Maturity, professionalism, and drive are essential traits for this role.

Use of SAP CMMS: The MRO Materials Coordinator (MMC) will utilize the SAP Computerized Maintenance Management System to manage ordering, receiving, and inventory of parts, materials, and supplies.

Cost Comparisons: Performing cost comparisons to ensure cost efficiency.

Expediting Items: Handling overdue or missing items.

Receipt and Storage: Managing the receipt and storage of procured materials.

Decision-Making: Understanding boundaries for decision-making, including account codes and emergency orders.

Initiative for Improvements: Identifying and implementing improvements to procurement and receiving procedures at the facility.

Parts & Supplies 
o    Read and utilize technical and OEM manuals for identifying and cross-referencing parts for procurement and updating CMMS.
o    Process parts purchase requisitions into purchase orders through the SAP CMMS, checking for technical accuracy, pricing, availability, and proper suppliers while adhering to the National Contract compliance standards and meeting MRO compliance goals.
o    Ensure parts are ordered against work orders or location codes for cost transactions.
o    Ensure all parts ordered are entered into inventory and parts cross reference fields and updating system Master Data files (purchasing info records and source lists).
o    Maintain the overall plant spare part system (organization of parts, location codes, labeling, etc.) while ensuring that the parts inventory accuracy is greater than 98%. 
o    Lead the annual parts storeroom inventory. Support routine and accurate ABC inventories counts of spare parts and supplies, run SAP ABC Cycle counting sheet and complete daily reconciliations.
o    Support the ordering, tracking and maintaining of the inventory of consumable maintenance supplies (weld rods, wire ties, rags, etc.). 
o    Support the ordering, tracking and receiving of parts, re-stocking storeroom parts and staging parts for work orders.
o    Support the receipt and distribution of non-stock parts room deliveries
Invoicing and Purchasing
o    Utilize the P-card purchasing process and complete monthly reconciliations.
o    Assist P2P as required to resolve invoice issues.
o    Ensure packing slips and receiving reports are filed and Goods Receipts are posted as needed.
o    Manage material, parts, and equipment returns using RMA processes. 
Receiving 
o    Associate will operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed to properly receive, transport, handle and store MRO parts and supplies. Associate will also lift and stack materials as needed to unload or properly load trucks.
o    Associate will be trained on DOT Hazmat shipping. 
Other Duties 
o    Support other team and plant purchasing as needed. Provide project purchasing support by creating capital POs and issuing associated goods receipts as required. 
o    Track and maintain the plant’s electrical safety devices, glove testing and replacement program.
o    Back up other members and functions of the Technical Support Team as required or assigned.

•    Demonstrated aptitude for being effective in day-to-day routine purchasing/inventory tasks and creating improved processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
•    Excellent computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc. 
•    SAP experience is not a requirement but is a plus. (training & support will be provided on SAP transactions)
•    Demonstrated excellent time management, organization, planning, and prioritizing skills.  Demonstrated ability to prioritize and reprioritize tasks according to business needs, direction, and primary responsibilities.
•    Demonstrated superior interaction skills, both one-on-one and in group settings, with employees, vendors and suppliers.  Must be able to effectively navigate and resolve conflicts as they arise. 
•    Demonstrated reliable problem solving, logic, and math skills.  
•    Outstanding attendance record.
•    Must be upbeat, patient, professional, positive, and productive even under pressure.
•    Demonstrated working knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical, and control principles and how they apply to manufacturing facilities. 
•    Demonstrate a strong understanding of the facility’s maintenance and MRO SAP procurement process.
•    Demonstrate flexibility:  Be willing and able to work flexible shift hours, off-shifts and overtime. Be willing and able to stay until the job is done.
