MRO Coordinator

The Purchasing MRO Coordinator is responsible for the replenishment of promotional and apparel inventory for our DCs. Serves as primary contact for Special Order expense item ordering. Works closely with MRO Category Manager and MRO Supervisor on higher-level projects, quotes, and programs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsible for special project rollouts. Includes quoting items, purchase order placement, and project tracking.

Assist with planogram updates project tracking, including purchase order tracking and following up with distribution centers and suppliers. 

Responsible for generating purchase orders for promotional items, displays, and apparel stocked in the distribution centers. 

Use the tools in SCORE replenishment system to make sure SKUs are being purchased and managed efficiently.

Follow up on late deliveries, partial receipts, factory backorders, and expediting of orders from suppliers for these purchase orders placed for the distribution center.

Maintain item new loads as well as keeping up to date information, including UOM, descriptions, pricing, and item dimensions for distribution-stocked items.

Serve as the primary contact for Special Order expense items. Provide order assistance and item sourcing to stores and departments for these items.

Assist with calls and orders in regard to Uniform and Field Apparel Programs and Special Order expense items. Place orders, resolve issues when appropriate, and escalate issues when necessary.

Ensure store direct order sites are utilized appropriately by the stores. Request order approvals from District and Regional managers, correct orders as needed, and track site misuse.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and customer service skills.

Ability to work multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Ability to make quick decisions and work independently.

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Desired: 

Two or four year college degree with emphasis in business, communications, or supply chain.

Experience in a fast-paced office environment where priorities shift frequently.

Knowledge of Purchasing functions.
