Schedule

Full-Time, Day Shift

7:30am-4:00pm

Weekends as needed

$20,000 Sign-on Bonus! 

Qualifications

Education:

Previous physics course work preferred.

 

Licensure/Certification/Registry:

ARRT registered in either Radiography or Magnetic Resonance imaging or registry eligible required.

Maintain CPR Certification

 

Experience:

Three (3) years of experience as a technologist with documented skill advancement in the workplace is preferred.

 

 

Responsibilities Perform a variety of MRI procedures on all ages of patients, according to established standards, policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines.

 

Maintain an excellent guest relations rapport with patients, visitors, physicians and fellow employees.

 

Maintain skills in performing emergency and routine patient care as required.

 

Administer agents / pharmaceuticals under the supervision of the Radiologist.

Ensure the integrity of, proper recording and transmission of patient information.

 

Initiate hospital procedure regarding employee/patient incident reports.

 

Review and recommend equipment/supply purchases specifically for MRI.

 

Participate in continuing education, meeting requirements for all mandatory in-services and maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in MRI.

 

Promotes health and safety in the work environment.

 

Actively participates in competency assessment process.

 

Perform other job related duties as assigned.
