As an MRI Technologist, you will perform MRI exams and procedures on patients of all ages while maintaining patient safety. You will be joining a close-knit, hardworking, and supportive team of caregivers that prioritizes quality patient care. You will also have access to the latest and greatest imaging technology and the best equipment in the area. This position offers a great starting point on which to expand your skillsets and experience.
This position is $5,000 sign on bonus eligible
A caregiver in this position works nights, 3:00pm—11:30pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Acquire and review patient questionnaire, chart and data/requisition to determine contraindication of MRI examination.
Perform MRI procedures required per protocol and perform daily QA.
Educate patients regarding MRI procedures, equipment, and exams.
Ensure patients' comfort and safety during and after the exam.
Report any malfunctions and observe potential equipment dysfunctions and report problems or calls for service.
Maintain available equipment up-time at the highest level for patient accessibility.
Instruct and mentor new hires and Radiology students.
Attend in-service programs and professional affiliation sessions.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited institution per the primary pathway of the ARRT
Must be a Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT), or R.T.(S)(ARRT), or R.T.(T)(ARRT), in good standing.
OR must be a Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(N) (ARRT) in good standing or be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board. Note: ARDMS and NMTCB are primary pathways
Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging: R.T.(MR)(ARRT) required within one year of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
One year experience as a General Radiologic Technologist
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Experience in other imaging modalities
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills are required to provide excellent care to patients and families
Ability to function well with minimal or no direct supervision

Physical Requirements:
Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.
Requires frequent pushing and pulling of equipment up to 75 pounds.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
