Job Summary
The Imaging Lead supports the daily operations of the Imaging department by coordinating workflow, assisting with staff oversight, and ensuring high-quality, efficient imaging services. Working in collaboration with the Imaging Director and department leadership, this role helps manage staffing, supports protocol adherence, monitors quality and regulatory compliance, and serves as a technical and operational resource to imaging staff.
Essential Functions
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in diagnostic imaging or radiologic technology requiredLeadership or lead-level experience preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of imaging procedures, workflows, and regulatory standards across multiple modalities.Strong interpersonal, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and electronic health record systems.Ability to organize, prioritize, and adapt to changing workload and departmental needs.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Commitment to patient-centered care, staff support, and continuous improvement.Licenses and Certifications
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists requiredLicensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state requiredBCLS - Basic Life Support required
